I’ve been making websites and designing games for over 8 years now. My most successful site has been AddictingGames.com which is now owned by MTV. After the sale I launched OneMoreLevel.com and it has grown to over 3 million visitors a month. I’m particularly interested in Web 2.0 startups, game design and the growth of the casual gaming industry, which is the intended focus of this blog, however, it may degenerate into lolcat photos and off-topic ramblings.
My design philosophy behind OneMoreLevel is:
- Quality over quantity. Only the best games make it on.
- Non-intrusive and minimal advertising. I don’t allow pop-up or audio ads.
- A quick, clean layout and no login required to play games.
- Free sharing of games. I’m happy to link to my competitor’s site if they have a good title I do not. I’m not a fan of walled-in sites.
- Reward developers. Without them we wouldn’t have any games and I wouldn’t have a job!
My other interests include hiking, playing guitar, disc golf and travel.

I love free rider 2!!!! If you ever make a third one you should have a link so it automaticly
shows some of the Whistler bike trails like bone yard and the kokanee drop!!!

Like the site, has anybody set up some kind of outer fourm yet?
After MTV got addictinggames, they used a bunch of pop-up ads, and the site started to lag. I find this site better then the older one.
Really, someone should set up some kind of fourm for this site.

i waz 10 wen i first played oml it waz so fun wen there were only like 20 games were on it nucleus waz my favorite now there are like 400 games and its so hard to chose a favaorite im leanin towards free rider 2 but i love tower defense what should i choose?

Dudei have been going t oyour site since it had only like 50 games i luv the site soo much it is at the top on my bookmark list iluv the new multi player games too fricken awesome the new game mech dress up is cool just wish you could customize the music or use the mech in like multiplayer fights now that would be sick

You truly have the greatest websites on the internet. It is a shame that u sold addictinggames to MTV. The quality of the games and cleanness of the website has just gone so far down hill. Keep up the amazing work!!!!!

You have got the gratest web site ever no doubt about it! It is soooooo cool. It hase all of my favorit games on it. I wish i wish i could be someone like you because I am into programing my self, and i am only ten!!!. I like the online games they are so much fun they are really fun when I play with my friends on them. But there is one quiestion i’ve always been wondering why is it called onemorelevel? I can understand addictinggames but I don’t know why you called it onemorelevel. Well see ya later Man

DUDE YOUR THE BEST GUY EVER… i love your website and i think its the best ive been on this website for about 3 years now all my friends use it to play games ‘n stuff. Hey dude!, I have to say that this is the greatest website ever!!!! I seriously spend all my time here lol. All the games are so cool! I cant believe you sold addictinggames to MTV!!! How much money did they give you?? I stopped playing addictinggames because i didnt like how it is beginning to look. Its just not as fun as this place. They have adds and everything! I used to love it.. but now its just ok. Anyways, I have to say that i have always wanted to make my own website or program my own game.. Im pretty good with computers especially for my age. (13) So ya you are so lucky you have an awesome job. I cant work yet. I really want a OML tee though those are awesome! Everyone is posting the same thing “I LOVE THIS WEBSITE” and im starting to wonder if some company will want to buy it soon… I hope not though. Ok i guess i’ll talk later. Awesome website.
