I’ve been making websites and designing games for over 8 years now. My most successful site has been AddictingGames.com which is now owned by MTV. After the sale I launched OneMoreLevel.com and it has grown to over 3 million visitors a month. I’m particularly interested in Web 2.0 startups, game design and the growth of the casual gaming industry, which is the intended focus of this blog, however it may degenerate into lolcat photos and off-topic ramblings.
My design philosophy behind OneMoreLevel is:
- Quality over quantity. Only the best games make it on.
- Non-intrusive and minimal advertising. I don’t allow pop-up or audio ads.
- A quick, clean layout and no login required to play games.
- Free sharing of games. I’m happy to link to my competitor’s site if they have a good title I do not. I’m not a fan of walled-in sites.
- Reward developers. Without them we wouldn’t have any games and I wouldn’t have a job!
My other interests include playing guitar, photography, hiking, disc golf and travel.

I like how you add games during the week. So if any other websites don’t have a new game, I can come check here. It’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! (just one thing though…do you think you could get more games with a level editor? if you can’t…it’s okay.)

I’m always looking for some cool games to play to pass the time in between lecture and work. I caught a glipse of my brother playing on this site and decided to check it out… GREAT JOB! its very convinient to locate what types of games you’re interested in playing and, well, even my mom plays!! lol

Love you sites.kitten cannon on addictinggames is so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!! my favorite game at onemorelevel.com is n ninja. my sister angie says its sooooo realistic.hey have you made any games yourself? nice mac. ive got ibook G4, and i think macs are better than pcs. I like biking too, mainly dirt jumping and trail riding. man ur so lucky that u live in BC!!! thats like the best place on earth for skiing/biking. i just live in a little town in ontairo that for some reason got noticed by RYAN LEECH!!!!!! if u dont know him, hes is a trails rider for the norco team. he did a demo and it rocked! btw, ur right, there are no crap games on ur site.

I’ve made a free rider 2 forum for sharing maps. it’s not a real site (sorry for that) but it still works. It’s brand new so no posts. Great site and try not to sell out. I enjoy playing a real gamers site as oppose to MTV’s. Add tower defence games and “Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy”. It’s an online flash game (not by me) but it’s one of my favorites and your site has the least lag. Thanks for reading.

Great site, but I have one suggestion. Label the games so that we can see what category they are in. I often use the Random button, and find interesting games that way, but it not only does not tell you the category, but if you try to short cut to the game, it short cuts instead to a random game.
I have used the All category to find game, but that can take awhile, especially if they start with a latter alter in the alphabet. (Though short cutting works)
It would be nice to simply know what category they are in, to make them easier to find.

Hey, this site is awesome! You do a great job with it and keeping up with the games. Only thing I would suggest is on the strategy games I’m bored of seeing the same old crap on those other sites so maby you can put some cool ones on your site. Anyways keep up the good work!

One more level is cool, but one of the games i do not like it is called “Check Your Match” because I did 2 guys I think r hott and it had a low percentage! But, one more level is sooooooooooo awesome!

OML is wicked i check it out every day (so out of those 3 million views a month im rather 30 or 31 of them)
but you might one to check out yor top ten lists because you cant see the white writing cause you put a white background ;)
