I’ve been making websites and designing games for over 8 years now. My most successful site has been AddictingGames.com which is now owned by MTV. After the sale I launched OneMoreLevel.com and it has grown to over 3 million visitors a month. I’m particularly interested in Web 2.0 startups, game design and the growth of the casual gaming industry, which is the intended focus of this blog, however it may degenerate into lolcat photos and off-topic ramblings.
My design philosophy behind OneMoreLevel is:
- Quality over quantity. Only the best games make it on.
- Non-intrusive and minimal advertising. I don’t allow pop-up or audio ads.
- A quick, clean layout and no login required to play games.
- Free sharing of games. I’m happy to link to my competitor’s site if they have a good title I do not. I’m not a fan of walled-in sites.
- Reward developers. Without them we wouldn’t have any games and I wouldn’t have a job!
My other interests include playing guitar, photography, hiking, disc golf and travel.

luv the site, visit it every day. Fav game… hmmm… TD!!! But if you could, i would like to see more skins for the site, the only one i like is dark. I want to be a video game designer, except for systems rather than comp. luv ya! (well, im not gey, but u get my meaning)

I personally think Canada should be changed to Canadia. America=Americans Germany=Germans Australia=Australians. But then Canada=Canadians? The country should be Canadia. I love Canadia. People there say “eh” a lot, and have funny accents. I like this site too.

you’re in san francisco? cool. i hope you know its actually always foggy in sf. maybe you’ll be lucky but here in marin its about 60 degrees. oh yea. and please dont call it san fran that bugs me. by the way i love your site. especially since my teachers didnt block it on the school computers. they only do the major ones. :D

Hey I just read all about you up there and I think you have made the best website on the internet. No offence but you do have some boring games like spank the monkey. But other games are good like turbocharged penguins - that’s a good game.

i like phyisics in a game and also to mess around in games thats why my favorite game is dust game its the best and plz put it on ure website its realy good and would get more people to play OML keep up good work

Yeah, man I love it, it’s very simple and easy to navigate. It’s not all flashy, and rediculous to load and that’s why I like it. You should put up a download section!!!
