I’ve been making websites and designing games for over 8 years now. My most successful site has been AddictingGames.com which is now owned by MTV. After the sale I launched OneMoreLevel.com and it has grown to over 3 million visitors a month. I’m particularly interested in Web 2.0 startups, game design and the growth of the casual gaming industry, which is the intended focus of this blog, however it may degenerate into lolcat photos and off-topic ramblings.
My design philosophy behind OneMoreLevel is:
- Quality over quantity. Only the best games make it on.
- Non-intrusive and minimal advertising. I don’t allow pop-up or audio ads.
- A quick, clean layout and no login required to play games.
- Free sharing of games. I’m happy to link to my competitor’s site if they have a good title I do not. I’m not a fan of walled-in sites.
- Reward developers. Without them we wouldn’t have any games and I wouldn’t have a job!
My other interests include playing guitar, photography, hiking, disc golf and travel.

Hey i really loved free rider 2, and i have a request for free rider 3, (if you make it) could you make one of the vehicle thats just a guy that can flip just like the other vehicles (leaning) except he can run, and jump, also maybe a jump button for all vehicles, especially the running guy

Let me just say that u got kool games on ur website that are even better than addictingames.com. Im 14 and my older brother whos really popular on youtube, (shane dawson) and he goes on your website almost 24/7, im the same way 2. 8^)

cube field is fun. i can get to stage 8 it gets faster and faster on each level but any was it isent to bad of a game for me.

Every stinking time I have a minor waiting time may it be while loading a game, loading big stuff in Inventor or just waiting the last few minutes before dinner I head right in here.

Ira you are some webmaster. Out of curiosity, why aren`t games popping up on the website anymore? I know you have a life to and all but It just seems like it was sudden you know? Maybe it`s just MY computer but the last game published was icebreaker. Could someone fill me in on whats going on? (Love the website man,I check it everyday)

The firt time I had ever seen gaming sites such as this clever one took place 5 years ago.It was actually the first good one I had ever seen.Dude,the way you present us with games is very appealing and I think you should keep up your brilliant talent so that many of us can take the time to realize how awesom3 you ar3.Not simple,you can take your abillity as far as you want,awesome maan ^_^
P.s.:Like the kid below(Lewis)I also think you should get a Free Rider 3.It’s been on your picks for a really long time and you know lots of us love to build stuff!!!
